La Ventana Coaching Program
La Ventana is a world-class kitesurfing spot on Mexico’s Sea of Cortez, known for its steady wind and vibrant community of riders—from beginners to pros. Each season, kiters gather here to progress, connect, and ride in some of the best conditions around.
Beyond kiting, La Ventana offers crystal-clear waters, rich marine life, and endless adventure—from snorkeling and diving to mountain biking and fishing.
With its panoramic coastline, La Ventana offers a variety of kite spots to explore. Throughout the program, we’ll make sure to try them all including unforgettable downwinders along the coast.
What does a day of coaching look like?
We’ll use the morning to set your daily goals, review your riding objectives, and share pro tips on reading the forecast, choosing the right gear, keeping your equipment in top shape, staying safe and all the little things that makes the difference between an averagae and an experienced rider.
The wind usually picks up around 12h , that's when we'll get to the beach and start riding ! Not two kite sessions are the same, you can expect sessions riding all together , photo shoots for video analysis and of course downwinders . Expect a lot of fun and a huge boost in your riding .
After a full afternoon on the water, we’ll return to the kite school for a progress review session and prepare for the next step in your journey.

With its endless coastline, La Ventana is perfect for downwinders. We’ll go on a few guided ones together. Not only is it a breathtaking experience, but it also challenges your technique and builds your confidence on the board. It’s often one of the most memorable parts of the trip — and chances are, you’ll want to do it again and again.

Pre requisites :
- be able to ride upwind
- speak the language in which the course is given
- be a confident swimmer in deep water
- be in good health condition
